After the discovery of the Savant he gives a special briefing at the Corporation Offices and gives the codes for the Shield Generators.
After the Shield Generators are activated, he asks about the silver sphere (starchart, hidden in a secret room of the station), then authorizes you to use the Deep Psych and gives the code for the Watchtower.
