Ruhl Buckhannah of Tyrsis was the king of Callahorn and his sons were Balinor Buckhannah and Palance Buckhannah. He ruled for 30 years of peace and prosperity. His advisor was Stenmin.
Allanon warned the King and the Prince that the Warlock Lord Brona returned to Skull Mountain and once more menaced the peace of the Four Lands. Stenmin though persuaded them that Allanon was only a troublemaker, and his words went unheeded. Then the King grew ill and Palance took over the duties.
When Stenmin's treachery was discovered, he stabbed Palance, and Ruhl was found poisoned by him. Balinor took over as King of Callahorn.
